You will learn proper storage, cutting techniques, and how to pair flavors to make your food really impress. All recipes are included for the dishes that are prepared and shared. A great class for gardeners!

This is the first step to becoming confident in the kitchen. Learn the basics of how to select, store, and care for your knives as well as these cutting techniques:

  • Dice and slice onions with no tears
  • Mince garlic and ginger
  • Seed and julienne bell peppers
  • Roll-cut and Japanese matchstick for carrots and parsnips
  • Cube sweet potatoes
  • Diagonally slice green beans
  • Create broccoli florets without the mess
  • Clean and slice mushrooms
  • Chiffonade greens
  • Chop fresh herbs
  • The fastest way to core and slice, dice, or chop an apple
